Cozy, delicious food, good wine. Nice hospitality. Good solution to the corona regulation

There were four of us and we probably wouldn't come back. My husband had schnitzel, which unfortunately was a finished product from the deep fryer. Chicken, french fries, chips and ribbon noodles could have used less salt and the salad was missing the pep. The waitress, who was alone for a long time, was friendly and really did her best.

Food was good. Reservation needed. An absolute no go is that you have to pay extra for ketchup and mayonnaise.

The service was pretty rude. When asked if we can move, since it has dragged to wherever, we received a snappy no, although the tables were free. However, the table behind us was approved. It made you feel pretty unwelcome. The food was a long time coming, but it was enjoyable. (Noodles a very small portion.) There was nothing wrong with the ambience, nice vaulted cellar! All in all, not really recommendable.

Solid, "good middle-class" cuisine, without surprises, very experienced and well-prepared. Very pleasant atmosphere inside and extremely courteous, authentically warm, non-intrusive service. Price level absolutely reasonable, but not a restaurant, which inevitably has to be "resubmitted" because of the excellent food.

Nice sitting outside, menu manageable, but it tastes good. Not a great kitchen. Service and prices are absolutely okay. If you are really hungry and like something more rustic, a good location.

Good German home cooking. The atmosphere is historically nice. Everything seems very personable. If you want to eat chic, this is probably the wrong place. Nevertheless, we are happy to recommend the restaurant to others. It tasted good to us.

Nice old town ambience. Service pretty underground (everything lasted forever, despite hardly any occupancy, so we did without another drink and dessert). Schnitzel were ok, sauces with it tasted more like ready-made sauce, and the side salad was missing, which should have been ordered separately. The stars are only for the ambience.

Just a nice meal and drink, cozy

A really very recommendable restaurant with a great ambience and nice wait staff. In midsummer it is pleasantly cool inside. The way to the toilets is also very interesting, you don't see something like that every day. The food was also delicious and plentiful. As a guest you always feel welcome.

The food was very disappointing. Despite fewer dishes on the menu, the food was absolutely unsatisfactory. The french fries were not through, the sauce was definitely a simple ready sauce and the chicken breast was not properly fried. After we complained about the fried chicken, it was fried again, for less than 5 minutes. Absolute no go !!!! All in all absolutely not recommended!

Get a place at short notice because of a very, very nice & funny conditions. Food was home-style and delicious. There was nothing to complain about!

A good choice. Go away from the Rheinblick. In this street and then please stay here. Whether the restaurant is visited outside or inside, drinks, food, service, prices, quality and quantity is a positive experience. Thanks to the team who received us easily. Gladly again.

Cozy restaurant with nice service. The tables are spread over several rooms and you can also sit outside. The food was delicious and came without a long wait.

We had dinner there with 4 adults and 3 children yesterday. We were served very child-friendly. For example, the children got their food a little earlier than we did our main courses. The selection is not huge, but the quality of the dishes is very good. We had Wiener Schnitzel (the breading was very tasty), pikeperch filter and rump steak (excellent fried potatoes). Highly recommended for a casual evening with the family.

In the Heart of the charming medieval city of Traben Trarbach, a beautiful and enchanting little medieval Town along the Mosel River Valley. The superb wine that is paired perfectly with fresh exquisite regional food at this restaurant provide an awe-inspiring sensual experience. The underground tavernous and timeless feel of the restaurant provides for a uniquely romantic ambience. Love this place and the Region! I am glad that it‘s still somewhat untouched and a bit off of the most common „tourist arteries“ that run through Europe which will help it keep it’s unblemished charm.

Great food, comfortable setting, friendly service.

Highly recommended: We had a great "Schnitzel mit Rahmensauce" and a "Mosel-Cordon-Bleu" accompanied by some delicious "Trocken" weiswein. Priceworthy. Fast service. Nothing to complain about.

Had a great dinner here. The soup was great and the main course of medallions was great too. The prices are normal. The quantities are more realistic then those at other restaurants in the area. Who give you tons of food for some reason. If you walk by and it looks packed then don't worry there might be room inside.
